Feel Blessed To Be In Solitude

‘Lonely’- a state of life many of us fear of being through this. We all pray to be happy, always surrounded by loved ones and friends but usually none of us pray to be lonely. Even few people consider loneliness is curse to human life.

But not always, sometimes being lonely can be good for ones life. Its human nature, we mainly see the negative side of everything but skip out the positive factor. Same in this case also.

"The more powerful and original a mind, the more it will incline towards the religion of solitude."
                                -Aldous Huxley

Being lonely, spending time with one self without any interruption can benefit our mind to focus and think more clearly. One can also achieve peace of mind which helps us discover ourselves due to which we get to know our self more accurately like what need and what we don’t, what is good about us, what is bad about us, which things we need to rectify in us and in which sector of us we need to emphasis more to make ourselves a proper human being.

Many times we feel exhausted and tired of life; spending time with yourself, knowing yourself better can help you to regain the energy to take proper decisions and to fight back.

It even enlightens our self to achieve a stable and calm life.

"Solitude is the place for purification"
                                   -Martin Buber

Solitude lets our subconscious mind to meet with our conscious mind due to which we able to solve out many difficulties and doubts of our life. Because many times our subconscious mind has that answer which our conscious mind can’t suggest, of any doubt or difficulties we are going through and can help us to lead our self's towards right direction.

So always, being lonely is not a curse to ones life but it can be a lot beneficial. What we only need to do is to see the brighter side of things. Therefor we all should manage time from our busy schedule to spend time with one self.

"The monotony and solitude of a quiet life stimulates the creative mind."

Peace, Love, Paws

‘The only creatures that are evolved enough to convey pure love are dogs and infants’

                         -Johnny Depp

Love is natural…..hate is not, fear is not, pain is not, and dogs are one of the absolute proof of this. A dog loves you unconditionally, and we should learn from these angels as they are the perfect example of true and unconditional love.

And I feel enough lucky to be blessed by such beautiful creation of GOD. May be for many they are just animals but the one who have a dog can understand what they actually mean to the family.

Presently, we lack a true friend to be with us in our ups and downs……few are busy with their own lives, careers and family whereas others are with us only for their own benefits and are less concerned or interested about us. But the furry member of our family is always there to support us and stay beside us in our both good and bad time. And maximum time they convert our bad moods into supper good mood.

If we are sad, not going through a good phase they will sense it even if we don’t shared it with them and they try their best to comfort us with their love and company. They are the real magicians who vanishes your pain, sadness just within few minutes of their company.

When we go out at the morning and leave them alone at home for the whole day, it’s the most annoying thing for them and they really became angry on us and wait for us for the whole day. After we come back home at evening, they welcome us as well as share their love by wagging their tails and licking all over our face. At that moment they automatically forget that they were angry on us due to the excitement of seeing us after a whole day…this is how a dog’s love is.

If we feel sad, they make us smile…. If we cry, they try to be our relief….. And if we are all broken and feel alone, they are always there beside us to heel us with their unrestricted love.

They are the ultimate resource of peace. When we get tired of fighting and competing with this world, the company of a dog can give us peace of our mind.

With their love they make each and every day special and memorable…..they loves us more than we love ourselves even they do understand our feeling better than us. They are the best therapist a human can have.

A dog is not the whole world for his master, but for a dog his master is more than his life. So love them a lot, spent as much as time you can, they do have very short life so make it beautiful and best life.

They are my angels. I still do remember the day they became our family member and from then
they made our life beautiful.

Fear Factors

‘HORROR FILMS’…….. this genre brings in viewers from all over the world and from every caste of life. Recently the craze for horror movies is in high among every age group. Starting from a youth to eighty years old are all equally driven towards this genre, even children below fifteen are also showing interest towards this genre.

As we all know every coin have two sides, similarly along with entertainment this genre also leave bad impact in our mind especially in a developing mind, like mainly on children within age fifteen but it can also create negative impact on a human between ages thirty because after thirties a human brain can be called as matured brain.

Horror films, when done well and with less reliance on horrifying special effects, can be extremely potent film forms, tapping into our dream states and the horror of the irrational and unknown, and the horror within man himself. The best horror films only imply or suggest the horror in subtle ways, rather than blatantly displaying it. In horror films, the irrational forces of chaos or horror invariably need to be defeated, and often these films end with a return to normalcy and victory over the monstrous.

We can easily assume that by watching these kinds of genre will leave an effect over the psychological status of adult human being along with children.

To emphasis this I am sharing  an old interview taken by me on this topic of Dr. Sanjay Sen, MBBS (Cal), DPM(Dublin), MRCPsych (London), CCST (UK), Consultant psychiatrist. This was mainly focused on the impact of this genre in a child’s mind.

Effects imbibed by a child from horror genre….

The brain of a child develops in every fraction of time; therefore they easily can create an imaginative, supernatural world around them. A child’s brain get stimulated when he/she witness something new or something unusual or the things which use to create a sudden shock over them. And then they start imagining about them, this deep imagination of theirs use to draw them away from the truth and force them to believe the unreal imagination of theirs to be true. Now it depends on the film that the impact will be negative or positive on a child. The horror films which contain slaughtering someone’s head with sword, chopping out of hands, dripping down of blood from face or any violence and cruelty can effect negatively upon a child’s brain while a positive effect can also shadow over a child’s brain if the movie is more about mythological horror stories.

Particular objects that effects negatively on a child’s mind……….

Previously, horror films does not use to affect a child like now a days, because the presentation of a horror movie was a lot fantasising and mythology based but now a days each and every horror films contain violence, aggression and cruelty this particular things effect upon a child’s mind negatively and can also make them traumatic.

Age group which imbibe the negative effect of horror genre easily……..

Aggression and violence are always being modelled by human being maximum time at any age. Likewise a child use to model violence and cruelty from a horror genre, which helps to develop negative impact upon their mind. Sometimes there can be a genetic role also. So, any aged child within the period of their brain development can imbibe negative effect easily.

After doing a survey I got to know that many children suffered from short term trauma after watching horror genres, so can this short term trauma ever covert into any big psychological problem in future?

Yes, it obviously can. The main emotional developments of a child start from the age of 4 and continue till adolescent. All the emotional behaviours (like how much a person will become nervous, how much a person will become tension prone, whether a person will became pessimist or optimist, how much emotional warmth one will have, how to behave in a critical situations and how to deal with it..etc.etc) depends upon the rate of development at that time. Therefore, if at that period of we expose a child to negative events, the child will absorb negative effect due to which for that instant of time they may suffer from short term trauma but it will stay imbedded in their mind forever which may lead to serious psychological problem in future.

Necessity of parental guidance for a child……

Super vision of parents is necessary while a child is watching horror genre; they
should guide what is good to watch n what is not. The CDs, DVDs and all those stuffs that contain those violent horror movies should keep out of reach from their children’s.

It’s Never Too Late

I failed, yes! I always failed at the beginning whenever I stepped into any new beginning….but giving up is not the true identity of a human being- this is what I always learnt from my parents. So I never gave up I always tried even some times more than twice.

Last year I completed my graduation and applied for masters in different universities but I couldn’t crack any of the entrances. I don’t blame anything or anyone for my failure but it’s only that I was incompetent and was not well prepared.

I was all shattered, lost confidence from myself and I started thinking that I will not able to fulfil my own dream, I can’t fight to reach my aim. May be I dreamt more than my capability. At that moment my loved one’s supported me a lot and told not to give up, to fight back till I survive because it’s never too late to achieve your dream. Then I decided to give the entrance again in the next year and meanwhile I did a professional course for one year.

This way I didn’t even realised how I came through the whole year and this year I again applied for masters in a reputed university and I cracked the entrance exam with really good grades. And I am so very happy and satisfied.

Now, I realised really it’s never too late to achieve your dream, to reach your aim.

So, friends/readers never give up in life. May be only a step further will be able to make you achieve your dream.
